I am the father of three, Juliette YOB 2000, Nicholas YOB 2002 and Sophie YOB 2005. I want to try and record some stories on a regular basis about my day-to-day activities with my children. I'm hopping that when they get older and ask me for funny stories from when they were little I'll have something to refer to. P.S. The Ultimate in ultimatedad is a reference to the sport.

Vietnamese is not Chinese!
Juliette is very excited to have the chance to get all dressed up for a formal party we will be attending at the Vietnamese Embassy in commemoration of their national holiday. Yesterday she asked me when the “Chinese” party would be and I told her that it was a Vietnamese not Chinese party. To which she responded “whatever”. OK, so she is only 6 years old but and she can’t be expected to know everything but considering her mother’s family history, for some reason I would have believed that my child would be less ignorant than your average Canadian 6 year old. I guess I was wrong. I’ll be sure to try and drill the difference into her head before we show up for the party.
