This girl has reached a point in her life where she wants to do it all. She feeds herself with a spoon, she crawls up and down stairs and she climbs the play structure in the backyard (with a little bit of help from her siblings). And while she does these things she talks all the time. Here is some of her vocabulary:
"NO" = means no
"Ow" = that hurt. She never screams this one it's always a bit understated and she usually has a confused look on her face when it happens. It ussually happens when people are trying to comb her hair.
"SCREEACH!" = Is the most common word in her vocabulary. It can mean, "Put me down", "Pick me up", "Give it to me right now", "Don't help me", "Don't put me in that car seat!", "Give it back to me" and anything else that needs urgent attention.
"Ma Ma" = usually means I want mommy or if she's not available I'll settle for daddy.
"Naaa Noooo" = She's been using this term for months and it means absolutely nothing as far as we can understand. She seems to like the sound of it though because she'll say it over and over again. Like most things she does, it's incredibly cute.
She loves shoes, and will wear them regardless of size or wheight.
Right now she's at the stage in which she walks around and grabs EVERYTHING in sight and takes it for a walk. This stage is not conducive to leaving the house so I predict the next 6 months or so will be spent in or around our house (or a grandparents house) and we will be avoiding stores, restaurants, vacation destinations, parties and other places in which a wandering kleptomaniac 1 year old can run her parents ragged trying to keep up with her.
